Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

We will refund you the value of the item as soon as we receive it.

If you are returning a bike, this is subject to a £50 restocking fee. Further reductions may be applied due to any damage incurred in transit.

Returned items will be checked by one of our specialists to ensure they meet the criteria set out in this Returns and Refund policy. Please note if you return items which are outside our Returns and Refund policy we will be unable to process a full refund.

To start a return, at your expense, you can contact us at hello@velobello.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. The client pays for the return shipping.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Warranty 

Velobello provides a six months warranty against manufacturing or material defects on all bike Frames and Components. This means that we offer a guarantee on material and production faults for six moths from the date of purchase of the product. However products with moving parts (such as hubs, wheels, chains, cranksets), that fail due to contamination, misuse, improper tampering, or lack of maintenance are not covered under warranty even if failure occurs within six months from date of purchase.

THE FOLLOWING WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY

  • Misuse (jumping, trick riding)
  • Modification of wheels
  • Tyre pressure exceeding 140psi
  • Improper assembly
  • Improper follow-up maintenance or maintenance by an unauthorised technician
  • Installation of parts or accessories not originally intended for, or not compatible with the wheel sets sold.
  • Use of brake pads not designed for carbon wheels (were applicable)

 

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  • Normal wear and tear (tyres, inner tubes, bearings, skewers, spokes, chains etc)
  • Surface finish and cosmetic treatments (anodising, decals, etc)
  • All other bicycle components
  • Consequential or incidental damages (where applicable)

 

Product Specifications and Suitability

Published product details, specifications and suitability information is the best available at the time. Product specifications are subject to change depending on availabilty of components. Velobello shall not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability (or otherwise) of any part/s required for the repair of an item. If you have ordered an item that has an unsuitable product description we will remedy this by providing you a full refund upon the return of the item. Please see our ‘DELIVERY AND RETURNS’ page for details.

  • We encourage you to ensure all spare parts are fitted by a competent person as warranty claims might be invalid for improper assembly. Velobello cannot be held liable for any damage caused by the fitting of a spare part.
  • Please ensure that you have read your warranty conditions before attempting to install a part or otherwise repair item. Velobello cannot be held responsible if the item is damaged or your warranty is voided.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
